Doubletake Studios is the UK’s leading makeover and photographic
studios. With state-of-the-art studios in Manchester (Jan
07), Farringdon (London) and Southampton,
as well as an exclusive family photography studio in Pimlico
(London).We are at the forefront of this industry, providing thousands
of people with fantastic photographic memories every year! A successful
business since 1996, we are gradually expanding and will be opening further
studios in due course.

to individuals looking for a truly pampering experience,
or for professional actors, musicians and models,

Do I have to be a model to have a portfolio or
photographic shoot?
No, not at all! We welcome any person, family member, friend, child, grandparent,
husband, wife… anyone who wants a truly memorable day out,
and might like some incredibly creative and funky photographs to document
their day with us. view

What will it cost me?
Cost varies entirely, depending on the experience you choose, and what
photographs you choose to buy (if any at all!). Experiences
vary from £99 to £400 and most of these experiences
include images of your photo shoot!
What is involved on the day?
You will have relaxation time, pampering time, photographic
fun, PLUS you will get to see all of your photos
from your shoot in a private BIG-SCREEN viewing session! more

How long do the experiences last?
Experiences tend to last between 3 and 4 hours –
yes, that’s up to 4 hours of true pampering… it’s all
about you, you, you! Family photography can take slightly
longer than this, but generally the process involved, from start to finish,
will last up to 4 hours.
How much is the refundable booking fee?
The refundable booking deposit ranges from £49 to £99 and
the no-Show Charge is £50 but only £1 to £10 will be
taken at the time of booking. Booking deposits and No-Show Charges vary
according to date and availability.
Why do you take a refundable booking fee or No-Show Charge?
A team of professionals are booked for each individual appointment. For
example if you make two Goddess experience appointments we will allocate
2 makeup & hairstylists, 2 photographers…etc. Hence, a refundable
Booking Deposit or No-Show Charge is taken for each appointment made to
ensure that each client attends.
Will I get my refundable booking deposit or No-Show Charge back?
Unless you use your booking deposit or no-show charge towards the cost
of purchasing prints/images on the day of your shoot, it will be refunded
within 30 days of your appointment date by the same method it was paid
(unless using a promotional voucher within 18 months of your previous
appointment).
Someone else paid my booking fee on my behalf, can I use this
towards my order?
Doubletake will assume that the client is permitted to use the Booking
Deposit.
What should I wear?
Individuals: Be adventurous as the more variety
the better the results. You could include a selection of tops, jeans,
denim or leather jacket, casual sporty clothes, smart trouser suit.
Ladies, there is always your favourite little black dress & sexy heals!
what to bring
Families & kids: The style of shoot we offer
is fun and energetic and best suited to casual, relaxed comfortable clothes
worn with bare feet. We suggest all the family bring a pair of denim jeans
and a white top. You could also bring casual trousers, a few tops in a
variety of colours, summer dress, sporty clothes, jumper etc…If
you like you can personalise your session even further by bringing a selection
of your favourite items – anything from vivacious costumes and outrageous
hats to musical instruments and sporting equipment or a favourite toy.
How many outfits should I bring?
Individuals should aim to bring 5 outfits to
choose from however individuals should expect to use up to 3
outfits and families or individuals with traditional
attire should expect to use up to two.Families should expect
to change clothes a couple of times.
What if I need to change the appointment?
To change your appointment call the bookings team on
0845 863 8332 (10am to 6pm Monday to Friday).
Don’t forget to give a minimum of 5 days notice.
What is 3 working days notice?

How do I place additional orders after my photoshoot?
Please place an order over the telephone with our friendly Customer care
team on 0845 863 8331.
NB: Complimentary photos can only be
ordered by
contacting Customer Services.
How do I know if this order has been received?
Once you have placed your order online you will receive a confirmation
e-mail with the details of your order.
All telephone orders are confirmed over the telephone when ordering.
I don’t live in the United Kingdom or Rep. of Ireland,
can I still make a purchase?
Yes, you can still purchase photographs if you do not live in the UK or
Republic of Ireland. You are able to order online or over the telephone,
however International orders will be subject to an increased postage charge
depending on your International Zone.
NB: Online orders will be charged for postage and
packaging and will depend on the weight of the order (excluding experiences).
How long will delivery take?
All orders are dispatched within 6 weeks of the order date.
Urgent orders are subject to a 10% surcharge and must
be requested by ordering with Customer Care on 0845 863 8331.
How will my order be posted?
Orders less than 75g are sent Recorded Delivery – Signed For. Large
orders over 750g and more than 25mm in thickness are sent by Courier Service,
in this instance clients are contacted once the order is fully processed
to arrange delivery.We charge a minimum of £7.00 handling fee on
all orders placed.
Can I change my delivery address?
Yes. When placing a Web Order ensure to enter your preferred delivery
address in the address details section.
Is it safe to give my credit card details over
the internet?
It is less likely that fraudsters will get hold of your credit card details
over the Internet than over the phone, through the post or in a restaurant.
If you take some simple precautions you can enjoy shopping online with
a high degree of security.
- Check that you are using a secure site before entering
your credit card details.
- Do not send credit card details by e-mail.
- Keep records of all your transactions.
When is my order charged to my credit/debit card?
When paying online your credit/debit card is charged
immediately.
What payment methods can I use to make a purchase?
You can pay online using our simple and secure online payment
system. Alternatively, if you do not wish to pay online just contact our
Customer Service team to place an order and you can then select
your preferred payment method.

How can I gain the right to copy my pictures?
In order to gain the right to copy and reproduce your photographs you
will need to purchase the CD image. You will receive a Copyright Certificate
with the CD entitling you to re-produce, download and send your selected
shots at your leisure.
What is the difference between CD images and
photographic prints?
CD Images are digital image files, which come in jpg
format on CD. Photographic prints are processed in the selected size.
I would like
a refund on my purchased voucher, what must I do?
You have 7 days after receipt of voucher to cancel the agreement and to
get a refund of your money for any voucher purchased directly from our website.
You do not need to return anything to us; you must simply request a refund
within 7 days and provide us with proof of purchase.
I purchased voucher from a 3rd party supplier, what must I do to claim a
refund?
You must contact the supplier
from which you purchased your voucher in order to claim a refund, unless
the terms and conditions supplied with the voucher state differently.
